Capra Solidarity Ministry is a faith-based nonprofit organization rooted in East Africa, committed to supporting the most vulnerable families through sustainable and compassionate action. Our core initiative revolves around a simple yet powerful idea: giving a goat to a family in need. This goat becomes a source of nutrition, income, and dignity—and when it gives birth, the first kid is returned to the ministry to be passed on to another family. This creates a continuous cycle of hope, solidarity, and self-reliance.
We began our mission by serving families in Rwanda and Burundi, partnering closely with local pastors, community leaders, and authorities to ensure the right families are reached. Our approach is deeply relational and spiritually grounded, emphasizing care, accountability, and follow-up. With each goat given, we aim to plant a seed of transformation—one that empowers families to break the cycle of poverty and take steps toward a brighter future.
At Capra Solidarity Ministry, we believe that real change happens not just through charity, but through shared responsibility and faith in action. Our vision extends beyond goats—it’s about restoring dignity, uplifting communities, and building a network of compassion that grows stronger with every family reached. Together, we can make a lasting difference, one family at a time.
